Dr. Katarzyna Zielińska-Król in her expert opinion describes the issue of the family as a sociological category. As we know, the family as the basic social microstructure has been present in all cultures since ancient times, ensuring the biological continuity of individuals and performing socialization functions. The family as a „subject”, as well as its universal, intercultural, international and timeless recognition as a socially valuable value, is reflected in the records and in law – family-oriented policy is addressed in many international and national documents.
